• We have made ventilation holes at both ends so you can turn and rotate your mattress and use both sides for extra breathability from the Airflow crib mattress.
  
  
• We recommend you sleep your baby feet to foot so head will be in the middle of the mattress and feet to the end. The middle of the mattress is more supportive as there are no holes (when you drill holes you do allow much more breathability but it weakens the mattress) So by sleeping your baby feet to foot you have air flowing around your baby and support for the back and head.
  
  
• The foam is wrapped in a SafeTex cover that is water resistant so it will help protect the foam from spillages - this cover is also breathable.
  
  
• Zipped cover - removable for machine-washing at 60°C making the mattress anti-allergenic and giving protection against dust mites.
  
  
• Ends are oval to fit your Moses baskets.
  
  
• NB when you remove the cover for washing you can if you wish plunge the foam pad into a solution of milton or mild Detol solution and then squeeze the foam pad out like you would a car sponge, allow to dry fit new machine washed cover and you are back to an anti-allergenic mattress again.
