100% Bamboo is a gorgeous soft fabric for your baby's sensitive skin. Our bamboo flat and fitted sheets are made from 100% bamboo and have no polyester or cotton mixed with it. Safety

• Bamboo fabric will also resist yeast, mould and fungus cultivation.

Comfort

• Exceptionally soft and gentle, it feels like silk or cashmere
• Warm in winter and cool in summer - bamboo is incredibly breathable with natural wicking, deodorising, and anti-fungal properties
• Fibres are finer than a human hair so causes no abrasion against the human skin
• Bamboo is more flexible than cotton so it will stretch - a big plus for fitted sheets
• These sheets are 100 percent bamboo 180 gsm cloth weight, best quality available for a baby cot sheet - mixtures with cotton and polyester -might be cheaper but they do not give the same gorgeous feel as 100% bamboo.
• More affordable than silk, bamboo has a similar drape and is stronger, along with having a natural sheen
• Absorbs three to four times more water than cotton fabric without sticking to your skin.

Maintenance

• Machine washable on a  very cool wash, ( no need to wash at 60°c as Bacteria cannot live in it) mild soap, do not bleach, tumble dry very low heat, fold straight from drier does not need ironing
• Unlike silk, bamboo can easily be tossed into a washer and dryer, making it much simpler to take care of
• Also wrinkle-resistant, bamboo can be ironed at a low temperature if ever needed and has very little shrinkage.

Environment

Technical

• A study by the CTITC (China Textile Industry Testing Centre) showed that after introducing bacteria to a sample of bamboo fabric a 99.8 reduction in bacteria occurred over a 24-hour period.
• Another study by The Japan Textile Inspection Association showed that bamboo fabric could eliminate over 70 of introduced bacteria over a 24-hour period even after 50 industrial wash cycles.
