It is a good idea to unzip the main cover every couple of weeks and put it on so the COOLMAX® cover is zipped on the other size of the mattress this will extend the life of your mattress has the same efect as turning the mattress.

• NB Foam used in the UK has to be fire retardant that is the law it has to conform to BS 1877 and BS 7177.
  FSID - The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID) do not approve of this fire retardancy being achieved by using phosphates.
  
  The only way to fulfill the needs of FSIDS and the UK Law is to use CMHR foam (Combustion Modified High Resilience).
  Using CMHR foam means you have to use a much higher grade CMHR28 or more to try and prevent indenting.
  
  The heavier the grade of foam the more support and the less it will indent or dip and the better it will recover.
  
  To achieve a better product some companies will use a grade even higher than grade CMHR foam, somewhere between 33 - 50 but this will impact severely on the price.
  
  
  It is not agaist the law to avoid FSIDS recommendation and use a cheaper foam with added phosphates in order to hit a price point.
  
  Infact in mainland Europe they do not use CMHR foam and some international companies selling here do not use it. On thie products the ar eunable to say "As approved by The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID)", in their marketing blurb they will call it "A grade" or "nursery foam" and conforms to BS standards.
